Responsible Travel Policy

Responsible tourism is widely regarded as the set of decisions and behaviours that reduce the negative impact of travel on the environment, economy and culture. We ardently support our local communities, invest in eco-friendly measures and never allow the mistreatment of animals on our tours. The Responsible Travel Policy of the company is mentioned below:

Responsible Travel Policy: Social & Economic Responsibility:

  • Bespoke India Holidays promotes the tours that support local communities and also offer enriching experiences to guests. Our partnerships with local NGOs and community members enable us to provide heritage walks and other tours that celebrate the diversity of cultures, capture the feel of places and assure engaging photo walks
  • The fees for heritage walks and slum tours support local economies, improving the quality of medical care and education
  • A document and video is shared with the guests prior to trip that highlights Things to avoid during the trip. This information highlights important social things like What to wear, What kind of sensitive talks to avoid, etc. The video link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWO5LBH4HJc&t=1s
  • Bespoke India Holidays donates to local organisations like Child Relief and You that carry out various socially responsible activities for the underprivileged
  • A list of restaurants and stores is shared with guests prior to arrival that support various causes. For E.g. In Agra, we include a restaurant run by women who suffered acid attacks. In Jaipur, we include a visit to store run by Women NGO etc. If the guests wish to visit any of these places, then that is arranged without any additional vehicle cost

Responsible Travel Policy: Environment Responsibility:

  • All our vehicles are emission-tested vehicles and maintained in a manner that reduces the pollution.
  • We reduce the use of paper by taking printouts when absolutely necessary. Upon your arrival, we share only the most important trip information via paper copies. A majority of all our communication occurs via email
  • We generally ask our guests to opt for sharing safaris thus reducing the number of vehicles in the park and hence lesser pollution and interference for animals
  • We do not promote tours that cause mistreatment to animals – be it Elephant rides or Camel rides
