Luxury Tours of India, Tailored to the Way You Travel

A luxury trip through India is about more than staying at five-star hotels. It is about choosing the right places to stay, planning each route carefully and having the time and support to experience a destination properly. Our luxury tours of India bring those details together in a journey shaped around your interests, dates and preferred way of traveling.

From palace stays in Rajasthan and views of the Taj Mahal in Agra to tiger safaris, Kerala’s backwaters and the historic cities of South India, our luxury India tours can bring together very different sides of the country without making the journey feel rushed. We take care of accommodations, private transportation, guides and experiences so that each part of the trip fits naturally with the next.

Luxury India Tours Built Around Your Interests

There is no single formula for traveling through India well. Some travelers want two weeks of Rajasthan’s palaces and historic cities. Others would rather combine the Golden Triangle with a few days in Ranthambore or finish a cultural journey with a slower stay in Kerala.

We plan each luxury tour of India around those choices. The route, hotels, room categories, sightseeing, transportation and experiences can be adjusted to suit what matters to you, rather than fitting your trip around a pre-designed package.

Just as importantly, we consider the pace. Adding another city is not always an improvement. Sometimes the better decision is an extra night in Udaipur, a free afternoon after a busy sightseeing day or fewer long drives between destinations.

What Makes a Luxury Tour of India Different?

The difference is often found in the details: where a hotel is located, how much time you have in each destination, who is guiding you and how smoothly you move from one place to the next.

A Journey That Flows

India is a large country, and an itinerary can quickly become tiring when too much is packed into it. We consider travel times, flight connections and the right number of nights in each destination when putting the journey together.

Experiences Worth Making Time For

A sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, a private guided walk through an old city, a wildlife safari or time on Kerala’s backwaters can become highlights when they are placed thoughtfully within the itinerary rather than added as a checklist.

Private transportation, knowledgeable guides and local assistance help take care of the practical details, leaving you more time to enjoy the places you have traveled so far to see.

We too have also just returned from a 2 week trip to India organised by Bespoke India. Out trip was for myself, my wife and our 15 year old daughter.

Overall we had very good service from Bespoke. Initially this was from Jay who worked closely with us to develop a customised itinerary to suit our needs – mainly in Northern India covering Agra, Ranthambore (tiger spotting), Pushkar, Jaipur and Delhi. This was a smooth and easy process and Jay was very responsive.

Arriving into Delhi we were met right off the plane by the company representative and our driver – this was even though the plane was 2 hours late due to fog. From there we toured the 5 locations.

The guides were good in each city, explained the monuments and sights well and generally looked after us. We also had our driver, Bunty, with us the whole time and he was brilliant. This was both in terms of his driving skills (a key factor in India), his hospitality and in that we got on really well for the whole trip.

Overall we were very pleased with how Bespoke organised indian wildlife holidays packages and delivered the trip. We would have no hesitation in using them again should we return to India for another trip.

When I set out on the planning of our trip to India it was with some trepidation. I had travelled there alone several times and knew the likely scenarios which would drive my husband crazy. Harry has travelled to most places in the world but never India. Searching on-line I came across ‘Bespoke Travel’; there was a ring about it that led me to believe this company could work well for us.

We were met at N. Delhi airport by our first representative who steered through the terminal to our waiting car. From thereon in every airport we encountered and every new location where we alighted a Bespoke rep was waiting for us. Similarly any air or train travel we encountered, a Rep would collect us from the hotel and deliver us through to security and boarding. This took so much stress out of our trip by allowing us to relax in confidence that all would be taken care of. Jay had booked one leg of our tour on the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels.

Our guides all along the way were excellent. A few of them were among the best either of us have encountered internationally.

Bespoke India Holidays surpassed my expectations in the experience of our ease of travel in India. Jay had paced the trip well for us providing quiet and comfortable hotels the way. Consequently I can highly recommend Bespoke’s ability to deliver a great experience for you in India.

Bespoke India Holidays provided my wife and I the best vacation we have ever been on together. Truly a trip of a lifetime. Traveling to such a far away land with drastically different culture, let alone the multitude of varying languages, brought with it concerns about how we would manage day-to-day enjoying our trip to Nepal and India to its fullest. We worked with Jay at Bespoke and were thrilled with the end product. From the moment we met our first guide at the Kathmandu airport to when we were personally escorted through the Varanasi airport, everything was top notch. Our guides were well-beyond expectations, as were the drivers and hotel recommendations/accommodations. Additionally, the itinerary design needs to be noted as it combined what seemed like all the elements that a true tourist needs to see with little hints of personalized local flavor that you wouldn’t get with a large tour bus. We wouldn’t travel to India any other way. My wife and I fully plan on heading back to this part of the world (Nepal specifically for trekking) and we will absolutely use Bespoke India Holidays again.

Frequently Asked Questions About Luxury Tours of India

A luxury India tour can include carefully selected accommodations, private transportation, guided sightseeing, airport and hotel transfers and experiences arranged around your itinerary. What is included ultimately depends on the destinations, hotels and travel style you choose, so the trip can be planned around your priorities rather than a fixed list of inclusions.

The cost varies considerably depending on the length of the trip, season, hotel and room categories, transportation, destinations and experiences included. Palace hotels, premium room categories, wildlife lodges and certain experiences can significantly affect the overall price. We prepare a personalized quotation once we understand how you would like to travel.

Around 10 to 14 days works well for many first-time journeys focused on the Golden Triangle and Rajasthan. Within two to three weeks, you can travel at a slower pace or combine northern India with destinations such as Varanasi, a wildlife reserve or Kerala. Trying to cover too many regions in a short trip usually means spending more time in transit than necessary.

India offers everything from grand palace hotels and established five-star properties to intimate heritage hotels, wildlife lodges and boutique retreats. The right choice varies by destination. In some places, a historic property adds significantly to the experience; elsewhere, location or service may matter more than grandeur.

Delhi, Agra and Jaipur are a natural starting point for many first-time visitors. Rajasthan destinations such as Udaipur and Jodhpur can extend the journey, while Ranthambore adds wildlife and Varanasi offers a very different cultural experience. Travelers with more time can also combine North India with Kerala or other parts of the south.

Yes. The destinations, trip length, accommodations, room categories, transportation, guides and experiences can be adjusted around your preferences. A suggested itinerary can be used as a starting point or the journey can be planned from scratch.

Yes. For travelers coming from the United States, careful planning is particularly useful because India is a long-haul destination and journeys often involve several cities. Having accommodations, transportation, guides and internal travel arranged in advance can make a multi-destination trip considerably easier to navigate.

The best time depends on the regions included in your itinerary. Much of Rajasthan and North India is popular during the cooler months, while Kerala, wildlife destinations and Himalayan regions have their own seasonal considerations. The route should therefore be planned around both your travel dates and the experiences you want to include.
