Later proceed for Shikara ride in the Dal Lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful Floating vegetable gardens, Handicrafts Centre & inherited lifestyle of people living inside the Lake since decades.

Today we will proceed for a local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens , Nishat Garden (Garden of Pleasure) & Shalimar Garden ( Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal-Lake & River Jhelum.
Enroute visiting handloom center famous for production of Pashmina/Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned Carpets.
In the afternoon, proceed for Cultural Tour of Old City Tour visiting Shah Hamdan Mosque, Jamia Mosque, Zainul Abideen Tomb and Hari Parbat Fort. The capital of Jammu and Kashmir and the largest city in the state, Srinagar (1,730m) is famous for its canals, houseboats and Mughal gardens. The city itself is quite unlike most other large Indian cities for here you are much more in Central Asia than on the sub continent. It's a city full of intriguing alleyways and curious buildings. A place where it's very easy to spend a few hours simply wandering - particularly along the old city streets near the Jhelum river.

Today we will drive towards Gulmarg (2650 Meters above Sea level). It is one of the most beautiful hill stations and also called “Meadows of Flower”. The drive past colourful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 12 kilometers to Gulmarg.
Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes in Asia. Upon reaching Gulmarg early we will board the Gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of rope-way will take you past colorful shepherd huntsmen to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak.
Returning from cable car we will have our lunch and post lunch we will start our trek to kungdoori . (Lunch on direct payment basis.) Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Gulmarg. Take a guided hike through the picturesque meadows and pine forests, enjoying the fresh mountain air. Visit the famous kungdoori a beautiful spot where one get the glimpses of Nanga Parbat and the Himalayan Range , surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Spend some time here, taking in the tranquility and capturing some stunning photographs.
After trek return to Srinagar and have rest of the time at leisure.

Today after early morning breakfast, we will checkout very early from the hotel and drive towards pahalgam.
Pahalgam is one of the famous health resorts of Jammu and Kashmir State. It is situated in the north east of District Anantnag among lofty hills covered with evergreen forests. Its cool invigorating and pleasant climate, the melodious flow of Lidder Nallah attract tourists not only from within the country but also from abroad as well. It is also an important transit camp on the way to holy Amar Nath Ji Cave.
Later get transfer from Pahalgam to Aru Vallery situated 12 km off Pahalgam. The drive takes about 30 Minutes drive to Aru via Pahalgam. Aru is regarded the main base for the Tarsar Trek. At Aru, you will be welcomed at a riverside camping zone, by the sweet flowing Lidder. There are lots of activities around town at Aru—from trout fishing in the Lidder, the Aru Biosphere Reserve to horseback riding. Upon reaching Aru valley we will start our trek following the Lidder River upstream. After a 9-10 km walk up soft slopes, the trail enters a thicket of conifers. This is the Nandekai village inhabited by seasonal, migrating shepherd people, and agrarian, foraging Gujjar community. We will now enter a tumbling meadow grassland. The trail then curves into another wooded area of gorgeous firs before coming out into the meadows of Lidderwath where the river flows clear watered. Our camp would be at a quiet spot close to the stream. There will be enough time before sundown to walk around the peaceful fir tree shadowed Gujjar settlement.
Later return to Aru where the driver will be waiting to transfer you to Pahalgam, where your assigned cab will drive you back to your respective Hotel at Srinagar.
(Pahalgam to Aru Valley transfers will be done in Union Vehicle.)

After breakfast, we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg.
The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot.
On Arrival at Sonamarg you will check into the hotel get refreshed and in Sonamarg we will take a 3 hour walk to the Thajwas glacier. The 3 kilometers long trek passes through lush green pastures, and a beautiful forest, and ends at a viewpoint from where you get a clear view of the glacier. There are a few tea stalls at the viewpoint where you can get something to eat before starting on your way back. If you were up for it, you can actually continue beyond that point and get a little closer to the glacier. However, the trek does get a little more difficult and trickier after that.
Thajiwas Glacier is a mountain glacier near the town of Sonamarg. It is one of the most easily accessible glaciers in Kashmir and is visible from everywhere in Sonamarg. This picturesque location is also a preferred campsite. It offers magnificent views of green waters and snow-peaked mountains. Even during the /mmer months, you can find snow on the trek. Due to this, the last point is named snow point. Put all of this together and it makes for a fabulous trekking route.
After trek, return to hotel and have rest of the time at leisure.

After breakfast, proceed to Kargil via Srinagar Leh Highway. Notice the gradual change in the colours of the mountains as you travel to Kargil.
The kargil town is 220 km from leh. It is about halfway to Srinagar from leh. This shia populated town remained a transportation point of trade caravans from Tibet, Central Asia, yarkand enroute Kashmir until 1949. Since ladakh was open to tourist in 1974, the kargil town became a night-halt place for tourists traveling between Srinagar-leh, Zanskar. Kargil, at an elevation of 10,000 feet, has the strong suru river flowing through it once a Buddhist area, this shia Muslim subjugated district was converted to islam in 15th century.
Cross the Zojilla pass & Drass region . Visit the Zozilla War memorial & Kargil War memorial on the way to pay tribute to the Indian Army. It was in this very region in which the Indian Army fought and won the famous war of Kargil.
Take some memorable snaps of Tololing, Tiger Hill and the war memorial in Drass.

Later in the evening, you may take a walk on the Kargil Main Street- Kargil main street, being a small town, is not a shopper's paradise in the complete sense of the phrase. But the main street offers a selection of dry fruits and some great food. Some shops also sell locally produced folk music which are souvenirs for travelers.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Leh. En route, visit Mulbek (known for its huge Buddha Statue) and Lamayuru monastery (The oldest monastery in Ladakh).
Admire the confluence of Indus – Zanskar Rivers and the effects of Magnetic Hill (Defiance of the law of gravity). Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Kali Mata temple.

Today our guide takes you to an exciting sightseeing of Stok, Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries.
Shey - Set on the eastern bank of the river Indus, the small village Shey is just about 15 kms from Leh. The place is popular for the ancient palace and the monastery. The Shey Palace was the residence of the royal family built in the 17th century. Also you can see the ruins of a fortress present above the palace. The Shey Monastery also has a three storey image of Buddha Sakyamuni made of copper gilt.
Thiksey Monastery - Located on top of a hill, the monastery is an excellent example of Ladakhi architecture. This contains several stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and a large pillar depicting Buddha's teachings.
Hemis Monastery - Built in 1630, this is the biggest and most famous monastery in Ladakh. It is at a distance of 49 kms from Leh and 30 kms from Thiksey. Stok - This is a small village located at a distance of 14 kms from the Leh.
Stok Palace and Stok Monastery are prime attractions of this place. The Stok Palace is now the residence of the royal family members.

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardungla pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet) After spending some time at Khardungla, proceed to Nubra.
On arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed to visit Diskit & Hunder Village and monasteries. Take a stroll around the place to see the life style of people living at the northernmost region of India ,also enjoy Camel Safari in the evening.
SAMSTANLING GOMPA: Samstanling Monastery was founded by Lama Tsultrim Nima and Monastic community was introduced as Rezong Gompa. About 50-60 monks are residing at this 132 years old monastery. The Gompa has some strict rules and regulations.

Visit Turtuk Alternatively known as the “village divided by a border,” the Turtuk Village in Ladakh is located in a tiny corner of Baltistan. It is also India’s last village, situated right on the Indo-Pak border, with magnificent snow-clad mountains surrounding it. Other than being the gateway to the Siachen Glacier, Turtuk is also famous for producing a variety of fruits, including Apricots.

After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Pangong Tso (lake).
We will start the day following the same route towards Leh, till we reach Khalsar. From the Agyam bridge, we will take the left route which leads us to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. The route is scarcely used for commuting so you will not find any heavy traffic on any day. Some patches are bad but the experience will be great. The road after Shyok is good but very steep.
After Durbuk, take left towards Tangtse and follow the traditional route. Drive further to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India. Explore the lake area, you may see some rare wildlife.
