Kaziranga national park is spread across an area of 440 Sq Km. jungles in North East India and is one of the most picturesque national parks of India. It is listed as the UNESCO World Heritage site and is famous for its One horned Rhinoceros, Elephants, Hornbills and host of other mammals. The best way to explore the national park is through Elephant Safari. The other way to explore the national park is Jeep Safari and trekking. The trekking in the core area is prohibited but you can stroll through the buffer areas of national park to spot the wonderful birds of the area. The best season is November to April Approach: Kaziranga National park is 240 Kms from Guwahati and is a comfortable 4/5 Hrs Journey.
