Gwalior is known for its rich culture and heritage and this is visible in its forts, palaces, temples and motifs. Some of the important monuments are the Gwalior Fort (built by Raja Man Signh in 15th century) perched on a hilltop and provides some excellent vies of city, Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal, Teli-ka-Mandir and the Sas-Bahu temples.
